In 2017 global superstar Harry Styles delivered his highly anticipated self-titled solo debut on Columbia Records. The Platinum-certified, Billboard 200 chart topper was preceded by the sweeping rock ballad "Sign of the Times," which topped the charts in over 80 countries upon its release.
Drawing comparisons to the '70s work of David Bowie, Styles says that, "It's the song I'm most proud of writing I think."
The album was executive produced by Jeff Bhasker, with additional production from Alex Salibian, Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon. "The songs range from full-on rock ("Kiwi") to intricate psychedelic pop ("Meet Me in the Hallway") to the outright confessional ("Ever Since New York," a desperate meditation on loss and longing)," wrote music centric filmmaker Cameron Crowe for Rolling Stone.
