A beloved and unique work in the On-U Sound catalog is being reissued in a deluxe edition! Little Annie Bandez, also known as Annie Anxiety, has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from Coil to Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, from Crass to Marc Almond, and from Swans to Bim Sherman.
On this album, Tackhead's Doug Wimbish and Skip McDonald collaborate, with production by Adrian Sherwood, to create a dance-pop track infused with dub influences. The sound, supported by breakbeat shuffles and heavy basslines, naturally makes you want to move. In particular, the intensely catchy "I Think Of You" elevates the everyday routine of housework into a sensual R&B swing, and has now become an essential track in the record bags of adventurous DJs.
This release includes the original album plus bonus tracks from its sister album, "Short, Sweet and Dread," including two tracks that have never been released on vinyl before. Furthermore, it features rare photographs and liner notes interviews in which Annie herself discusses the making of the album.
