With a raft of rave reviews and awards already in its kitty, the award-winning all-Irish semi-biographical film Kneecap is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, playing in over 500 cinemas across the UK and Ireland. The film was selected by the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) to represent Ireland in the International Feature Film Category at the Oscars, and won the Next Audience Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award at the Galway Film Fleadh in July.
The Kneecap Concert (Official Soundtrack) is packed with tracks from the trio themselves, along with Bicep, Fontaines D.C., Orbital and music composed by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, with excerpts of dialogue from the film interspersed throughout. The physical version will be available as a double-vinyl (with a wraparound cover and colored vinyl) and on CD.
