2012 two CD set containing a pair of albums from the Metal maniacs: Rust in Peace (1990) and Countdown to Extinction (1992). While never achieving the commercial heights of his former band, Metallica, Dave Mustaine has certainly given them a run for their money, musically. Even when Metallica softened their sound, Mustaine and his Megadeth mates continued to attack their music with a vengeance.
