The duo first came to prominence as 'The D' in their self-titled HBO show in the late-90s, the Grammy nominated duo have now released three full length albums on Epic (2001's Tenacious D, 2006's The Pick of Destiny, and 2012's Rize of the Fenix), earning them fans from all over the world.
Originally produced by hit making production duo the Dust Brothers, and featuring Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on both guitar and drums, this 12th Anniversary Edition of their debut is being released with the full cooperation of JB & KG to help kick off their Old School Acoustic Style North American tour in March of 2013!
