Brooklyn Indie Pop stalwarts The Pains of Being Pure at Heart announced their eagerly anticipated third LP entitled Days of Abandon, after two critically-acclaimed records that demonstrated the group's ability to shift musical registers from bedroom pop daydreams to Alternative Nation anthems.
Slumberland is proud to join the band in releasing the first official single from the record, the buoyant "Simple And Sure." It's an upbeat pop gem that features a great hook, vocal accents from Jen Goma and one of the great choruses that The Pains are so well-known for. On the b-side we find the dreamy, melancholic "Impossible," a lovely tune exclusive to this single.
